Xmas = Overindulgence

And still the food just keeps on coming!!
Not that I mind, despite my lean, handsome appearance, I can shift a plateful of calories as well as some of the best competitive eaters known to man.
And BOOZE, yeah love all the free booze swimming about, haven't been sober since Midday Christmas Eve.
Amazingly I managed to get by without thinking about sporting picks until Boxing Day morning, as I was up early to get rid of the previous days stuffing, Channel 4's The Morning Line reawakened the sleeping monster within known as FOOTBALL ACCA'S!!
So with an early payment of jobseekers allowance enabling me to dabble in the futures market (the future being 1 o'clock kick offs,) I started trawling through the Boxing Day fixture list.
Felt Tottenham were worth a single at odds against, even though Fulham are tidy at home and still do not get the recognition deserving of a side hugely progressed in recent seasons under canny stewardship of an internationally applauded manager.
Having seen the highlights, an entertaining 0-0 score draw with each team earning a point probably seemed the right result.
The first multiple I placed crashed and burned with both Newcastle and Cardiff City failing to take 3 points from their respective fixtures.
These results put a little pressure on the remainder of my Betfair balance as you are aware, times are hard.
Gold, Frankincense and Meurgh were replaced by West Bromwich Albion, Man City, Southampton and MK Dons. HALLELUJAH!
This set of results left me a little in front, which of course can't be left alone so I sprinkled a little on Sheff Utd to beat Leicester and a little more on Steve Gerrard to score anytime against Wolverhampton Dinglefuckers.
Sheff Utd had their chances but Stevie Gee obliged leaving me exactly where I started the day.
A further offering in the evening of wine, food and song left me longing for a day in front the box with my interests and 'er indoors, which I am now enjoying, whilst cooking a Sunday roast.
Of course the small matter of the 1 o'clock kickoff at the Emirates Stadium takes priority over me salting me spuds!
ASTON VILLA DRAW NO BET v Arsenal
C'MON!
