Fallen behind but still in front!

Where to start?
Catch up with Fast Freddie's horese picks.
Got sent New Years Eve's selections, 3 of them, the night before due to his early start on a celebration bender to the wonderous Bognor Regis, ever been?
Miss Overdrive 2:20 Warwick (5th opened 6/4)
Glencove Marina 1:45 Punchestown (3rd returned 2/1)
Beroni 2:15 Punchestown (won 9/10fav)
That put Fast Freddies ilovestevepalmer record to 1-3.
New Years Day selection Punchestown, just to confuse any readers, running at Cheltenham ended up not running which leaves Fast Freddies numbers reading 1-3-1.
During the typing of this post Fast Freddie sent a txt backing MR. WARBUCKS in the 1:55 Cork, beaten a length, posted record 1-4-1.
For a moment or two now I would like to reflect on my small glories. The recommendation in the last blog, duly obliged in the most comprehensive of manners.
Man Utd 5-0 Wigan Athletic.
Portsmouth 1-4 Arsenal.
Now tell me 5/6 isn't value. To add to my glow, unfortunately non TWITTER-posted for proof of purchase, I chucked two first goalscorer singles at the games. Rooney once again obliging, Arshavin not.
Not being able to rest on one's laurels I investigated what was shaking the other side of the Atlantic with TmsWinners, who fancied a couple of netball,er.. NBA matches going over in their points totals. Feeling lucky I quickly chucked them in a small scale double only for all four teams deciding they didn't fancy high scoring affairs, both games games coming in well under, TmsWinners has vehemently sworn to "rip their books up" over the coming weekend.
So coming into 2010 we're still afloat.
This weekend is F.A Cup 3rd round weekend, the point where the competition "MAGICS" up. Premier sides drawn against lower league sides, lower league sides playing each other dreaming of drawing BIG sides in the next round, away at Old Trafford or the Emirates.
The unpredictability of these clashes has always led me to keep stakes small and individual bets are probably best avoided until quarter final stages at least.
But, an improving Blackburn side travelling to an Aston Villa side in decline?
It will be close but at the prices Rovers are worth a sprinkle of the ilovestevepalmer magic dust.
ENGLISH F.A CUP SOCCER BLACKBURN ROVERS v Aston Villa (3 p.m k.o)
On top of this an even smaller stake rollup on 8 (yes eight) teams, just so I can watch Soccer Saturday and Jeff Stelling with an interest and a can of CARLING.
ENGLISH F.A CUP SOCCER TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR, SUNDERLAND, STOKE, MAN CITY, FULHAM, EVERTON, BOLTON, LIVERPOOL. Blind faith required to follow that.
C'MON!!!
