Just a quick catch up on yesterdays blog and twitter bets.
Arsenal -2 was embarrassingly wide of the mark, the home side seemed to approach the game with a fairly relaxed attitude compared to the intensity Leeds showed and Arsenal although dominating possession were unable to create many clear cut openings. LOSER.
Our F.A Cup treble was affected within minutes of the blog being posted, by the announcement of Woy leaving Liverpool and King Kenny returning! I would still have backed Utd mind you, but even though Everton comfortably saw off their lower league opposition, Newcastle from various reports were shocking in defeat to Stevenage, meaning the acca was gone before the final leg today. LOSER.
Then it started getting good, 2 singles posted, Reading to beat West Brom and Brighton to beat Portsmouth both came in leaving us in front with our Gridiron Playoff acca yet to start. WINNERS.
Unfortunately our 4 team rollup on this weekends NFL Wildcard games didn't make it past the first matchup! The 1/6 New Orleans Saints got turned over by the Seattle Seahawks, dumping last years winners out at the first post season hurdle. Due to the late kickoff of the second game yesterday, Indianapolis at home to NY Jets, we didn't see our outsider pick for that game win and because I wasn't paying attention to the Saints going out, I missed the opportunity of backing the Jets singularly! LOSER.
Beyond the blog we posted a couple of bets on Twitter that caught my eye as the day progressed.
Deportivo draw no bet v Barcelona was just a case of me looking at historical results, with a couple going the home sides way and the thinking that even Barca can't stay unbeaten away from home all season. LOSER.
Over 41.5 points in the Premiership Rugby match between Leicester and Northampton seemed a good thing but only just got over the line with about 5 minutes remaining, a win is a win though. WINNER.
All in all, we finished a little in front for the weekend, mainly due to a couple of Cup shocks, hopefully improvement for today.
So far today, all Twitter posted, we have Man Utd in 90 minutes, BDO Darts Final to feature 11 or more sets and an ante post wager on the Masters snooker, with more to come including a double on our remaining NFL selections.
Keep Twitter posted.
COME ON!!
