Beginning to feel like a curse......

This blogspot is now feared.
Not by bookmakers or handicappers unfortunately, but by professional sports people and bodies.
If they appear in CAPITALS, then it would seem in current times, they are doomed to fail.
Robin Soderling, our large priced each way bet for the Aussie tennis, went out in five sets at the first hurdle!!
Ronnie O'Sullivan, led 9-6 in the Masters Snooker final, only to eventually lose 10-9 to a brave Mark Selby who despite getting twitchy towards the end, took on any pot.
And do I need to curse Aston Villa anymore?
I will say that in my humblest of opinions, they lack a player who can win those sorts of games for them. That one individual spark of brilliance. Agbonlahor? Todays Tony Daley. Ashley Young? Too inconsistent. James Milner? Where does he play. Stylian Petrov? ?
The big televised game tonight occurs at Eastlands, with the visitors being their greates and closest rivals, Manchester United.
United have scored 11 goals in their last 5 away games, averaging at 2.2 per game.
City have not failed to score at the City of Manchester stadium this season.
They have won their last 5 home games, scoring 15 goals in the process, averaging 3.
The league encounter at Old Trafford earlier this season ended 4-3.
ENGLISH LEAGUE CUP SEMI FINAL MAN CITY V MAN UTD OVER 2.5 GOALS currently 11/10 BETFAIR (8:00p.m k.o BBC1)
Tonights F.A Cup replays include a game we were unlucky with first time round, with a late, late equaliser leaving us cursing not using the draw no bet option.
The home side have won 2 of the last 3 meetings here and I feel they will not need extra time or penalties to settle this tie.
ENGLISH F.A CUP REPLAY CARDIFF v Bristol City EVS general (7:45p.m k.o no t.v)
One of the TWITTER posted selections Saturday were Blackpool at home to QPR, they twice led only to be pegged back each time. The visitors tonight are Sheff Wednesday, who under new management, got off to a winning start, away at recent improvers Barnsley. I'm not of the opinion that Alan Irvine has performed some kind of miracle in the short time he has been there and for me the Tangerines will get back to the home form that has firmly kept them in the top half of The Championship.
ENGLISH CHAMPIONSHIP SOCCER BLACKPOOL v Sheffield Wednesday EVS BETFAIR (7:45p.m k.o no t.v)
Over the weekend 2 of our 3 recommended NFL bets copped but ante post selections, Dallas Cowboys made no further progress, leaving a likely New Orleans Indianapolis Superbowl. I'm already thinking over on the points.
Backing those two to win their respective championship games in a double currently pays just shy of even money.
NFL CHAMPIONSHIP GAME DOUBLE(parlay) NEW ORLEANS SAINTS + INDIANAPOLIS COLTS (SUN 24TH JAN 8:00p.m k.o SKY SPORTS)
One tennis match with a possible upset that caught my eye was the clash between James Blake and current U.S Champion Juan Martin Del Potro.
There may be some value if the current World number 5 turns up not fully prepared,
minimum stakes recommended.
AUSTRALIAN OPEN TENNIS MENS 2ND ROUND JAMES BLAKE v J.M Del Potro 4/1 general.
